SUMMARY:
RAM Building Consultancy were requested to carry out a Roof Condition Survey to one of the work repair sheds, there were several ongoing water ingress issues, one area cordoned off and therefore unusable. Due to the age of the repair shed, gathering information was required to establish its condition and how repairs / replacement would plan out moving forward.
THE PROBLEM:
The age of the roof, the condition of roof and also a number of skylights along with gutter lines and drainage.
THE METHOD:
Roof Condition Survey conducted to both the external and internal sections of the roof to provide accurate and comprehensive information relating to its condition, lifespan, replacement or repair options.
THE SOLUTION:
RAM’s comprehensive report showed the client exactly what needed repairing and how the repairs should be carried out. The client used these to have the leaks fixed by a contractor and was so pleased with the process, they ordered another 5 days testing which identified further leaks in a separate area of the factory.
