SUMMARY:
RAM Building Consultancy provides Building Envelope Diagnostic Testing Services to a wide variety of properties, including high rise residential tower blocks. This block of flats in Croydon was suffering from various water ingress issues causing concerns to tenants.
THE PROBLEM:
The block of flats was suffering from a range of issues throughout the building, from water ingress to flats below balcony areas overhead to defective rainwater outlets.
THE METHOD:
RAM undertook Dynamic Leak Investigations (DLI®) to both of these issues, using a combination of processes to accurately identify the areas where there was a defect.
THE SOLUTION:
RAM’s detailed Condition Report following the investigations provided a comprehensive repair schedule for the maintenance team to follow up testing taking place to ensure repairs were successful.
